The White Horse is situated in the farming village of Sharlston, almost half way between Pontefract and Wakefield.

This friendly village pub prides itself on offering quality home cooked food, local craft ales and a fine selection of spirits and wines.  All of this is combined within the comfortable and gorgeous setting of The White Horse.

We boast a huge beer garden to the front of the pub, with spectacular views all year round looking over to Emley Moor Tower.  As well as this, we also have a play area – so the kids can let off steam whilst you enjoy the views with a good pint of Yorkshire Beer!
